​​​​​​​In front of an amazing audience and at her home turf in Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark, Cathrine Dufour succeeded in beating the European Champion and the world ranking number 1. Isabell Werth for the second day in a row. This great achievement secured the Danish dressage star and her top horse Atterupgaards Cassidy the victory in the first qualifier of this season’s World Cup. Upon 10 years in Odense, it was the first time the event took place in Herning, and all the riders both Danish and the international competitors were praising the surroundings and the facilities of this show. 3rd place went to the dressage darling of the audience, Patrik Kittel from Sweden.

15 skilled pony equestrians joined the FEI Ponies Jumping Trophy final, taking place in Jyske Bank Boxen. After a spectacular final, it was a Danish victory, as Marina Nørregaard Langhoff and Nikolina finished in a flying clear round in the fastest time. Second place was also held by a Dane; Theodor Linde and Bel Air.

Today’s first class in the Nathalie Horse Care arena was the U25 Grand Prix Freestyle presented ZibraSports and the winner was once again Victoria E. Vallentin and Ludwig Der Sonnenkoenig when they repeated their victory from Saturday’s Grand Prix.

Finally Cathrine Dufour managed to get the European Champion and world ranking number one, Isabell Werth on her heels. In Jyske Bank Boxen before an enthusiastic and well crowded audience the Danish Dressage Queen beat Werth in the first World Cup qualifier of the season this Saturday in Herning, Denmark. After 10 years of presenting the World Cup qualification in Odense, it was the first time the season started in Herning, and both the Danish and International riders praised the arena in Jyske Bank Boxen. Another darling of the Danish dressage fans, Patrik Kittel from Sweden claimed 3rd place of this World Cup qualifier.

​​​​​​​The day started in the best possible way for the Danish dressage riders, 4 of the 5 placings went to Danish riders in Helgstrand CDI2*. Anna Kasprzak and Rock Star was best of the day, followed by German Janina Siemers while Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Zepter took the 3rd place.

Thursday presented mainly Showjumping tours for both Pony and Horse at the World Cup Show in Herning. The Ponies did their first round of both the FEI Ponies Jumping Trophy and the Nord-Vest Box Cup Finale. The Danes did really well in the CSI1* tour, and in the dressage the Danes also took the 5 winning prices in the CDI2* Prix St.-Georg. The first 3* Showjumping competitions also began today. In 2 of these the Danish riders were beaten at the finish line, but in the Grand Prix 150 cm qualifier tour the Danes were invincible and Søren Pedersen made sure the Danish flag went up for the last time Thursday evening.
