DSC_0917.jpgHighlights of the day were amongst many others the 3* Grand Prix Showjumping of 150 cm. The Danes were on fire during the day and were victories in almost all of the classes including pony jumping, CSI1* and CSI3* jumping. Anna Kasprzak was queen of both dressage arenas today as she won both the Intermediaire I and II.

Impossible to defeat Anna Kasprzak
The dressage riders opened the competition in the Nathalie Horse Care Arena today, in the Intermediaire I, sponsored by Skibby HC. 13 riders participated in the class where Anna Kasprzak & Quarton repeated yesterday’s Prix St. George victory as they took the first price ahead of Allan Skov riding Midtgaardens Showhit. Allan was also placed second yesterday with Midtgaardens Showhit, 3rd place went to Allan Skov’s former Grand Prix horse Volstrupgaards Cassiopeia. The 16-year-old mare is now ridden by Maria Dahl-Bruun whom at the age of just 18, was the youngest participant in the class. Both Allan and Anna had a few mistakes in their canter, but not enough for the competitors to get near their scores.

Anna Kasprzak continued her first prize winning in the Intermediaire II sponsored by Everhorse. 11 riders competed in this class in Jyske Bank Boxen.  Anna had left her Grand Prix horse Donnperignon (Pepe) at home and instead she was riding her upcoming Grand Prix star Rock Star 13.  With “Rocky”, as he is called, she claimed first price with a score of 71,842%. German rider Janina Siemers came in second aboard with Scaramouche 30 with a total score of 70,605%.  Danish Bettina Jæger Jensen has taken over the reins of the gorgeous gelding Skovlunds Gamin G, and this combination took 3rd place with a score of 69,579%.

Aabo and Künnemann winning Thursday’s first showjumping competition
The Danish riders continued to succeed in today’s first showjumping competition in the Jyske Bank Boxen –

Mustang Trailers Silver Tour 140cm. 120 riders battled it out in this competition. When a class holds more than 70 riders, it is divided into two parts. One of these parts was won by Michael Aabo riding Caprice De Dieu, who with a tiny margin beat former European champion Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. Only 0,25 seconds difference separated 1st and 2nd place.

Chef d’equipe and national coach for the Danish Showjumping team, Lars Pedersen, took 3rd place riding his homebred Graffiti P. The other part of this class was won by another Dane; Konstantin Deeken Kümmemann riding Ak’s Crowney. He won ahead of the German rider Sven Fehnl riding Quinto 64 and Norwegian Cornelia Emilia Kasin and Simply Cruise.

First Class Pony Showjumping
Like yesterday, the Nathalie Horse Care Arena was hosting some very skilled pony showjumpers. The first tour was a ride against the clock and again the winner of the day was Pernille Dam Harritslev Christoffersen and Runehøjs Rocco. Pernille won more than 2 seconds ahead of the second placed rider from Norway; Nora Nalbant and Super Bad. Third place in this competition, sponsored by Orifarm, was Theodor Linde and Attyrory Rebel.

The next class, was the second part of the FEI Ponies Jumping Trophy. Theodor Linde was once again at the podium, only this time he was on top as he steered Bel Air through the course in the fastest time of the day. Thereby he took first place ahead of Ingemar Hammerström and Ocean Des AS from Sweden. The winner of the first tour of this competition, Maria Nørregaard Langhoff and Nikolina came in third. The final of the FEI Ponies Jumping Trophy, is due on Sunday and will take place in the Jyske Bank Boxen.

Another Danish victory in the 3* Medium tour
The Danish victories seem endlessly this Friday, and the Danish national anthem seem to be on repeat. In the Skibby HC Medium Tour 140cm, Mathias Nørheden Johansen won first price. He did so riding Conrisiko in a clear round in the time 57,14 seconds. Second place went to Swedish Jonna Ekberg and Stella Levista and Dutch Bart Bles and Grand Canyon Van HD took 3rd place.

In CSI3* Horse-Trainer Small Tour the fences were 135 cm high. In the class of 24 participants the top 3 were all Danes. Yesterday Christian Petersen places second with his Zahr Alfarvad Z, but today he managed to swap second place for first place as he produced the fastest clear round of the day. Karina Leichle and Toftehøjs Camara came in 2nd and Michael Aabo, whom had already produced a win earlier today, had to settle for 3rd place with Hermes T.

Victory for Robert Vos in Skibby HC Grand Prix
Points for the Longines Ranking were at stake at the last class of the day – the 150 cm Grand Prix. 59 combinations participated in the Grand Prix and 15 were through to the exciting jump-off. Dutch Robert Vos produced the fastest clear round with Carat as no one were able to beat his time of 35,66 seconds. German riders Jens Backmann and Carmen and Holger Wulschner and BSC Cha Cha Cha came 2nd and 3rd.
